Welcome to Saint Lawrence School, Tentoloi, Angul

Saint Lawrence School, Tentoloi, as an educational institution acknowledges the significance of values in shaping the character of a child. Ever since its inception in 1986, the institution has spared no effort to cater to the educational needs of all sections of the society irrespective of caste, creed or social status. Saint Lawrence School makes a special effort to promote unity in diversity and tries to instil in every student a sense of justice and service of the less privileged ones in the society.

Situated in a village named Tentoloi, between the industrial towns of Angul and Talcher, the school boasts of a sprawling green campus spread over 7 acres of land.  The pollution free environment with a lot of trees and away from the hustle and bustle of city life provides the best ambience for the children to learn, play and grow up.  It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and follows ICSE syllabus. 

The school is managed by the Divine Word Educational Society, a registered Society formed by the members of the Society of the Divine Word (known as SVDs),  belonging to the Catholic Church, which is internationally known for its service to all sections of the society, especially to the poor and the less privileged ones for their education and social wellbeing. Saint Lawrence is the patron Saint of the school and Saint Arnold Janssen is the founder of the Society of the Divine Word.
